The Careers Room - Preparing For Life After School
Careers Education is intended as a partnership between the school and the family and operates under the foundation of a Biblical Christian world view. Careers Education will be based upon both "best practice" within Queensland schools, and on the principles of a Biblical Christian philosophy.
As Christians we believe that our purpose and source of true joy and gladness is to give glory to God through daily worship and praise. It is through our daily work, fellowship, life roles interests, along with personal and professional development activities, based around our faith, love and commitment to our Lord, that we achieve this together as the body of Christ.
We aspire to encourage students to persistently pursue God's destiny for each of them , to view their career development and future vocations as their ongoing service to God, and to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes required in their involvement within the workforce.
Mr Glyn Reinbott is employed as the College’s Careers Officer. Mr Reinbott welcomes contact from students and parents to discuss careers-related issues, including:
* Work Experience
* School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships
* Careers Guidance and Advice
* Year 12 University Applications through QTAC
