Galileo is quoted as saying, "Mathematics is the language with which God has written the universe." The study of Mathematics at Toowoomba Christian College aims to foster in students a growing appreciation of our Creator as a result of the inquiries undertaken.

In Years Eleven and Twelve, three levels of Mathematics are offered. Mathematics B is the most challenging of the three, and is a prerequisite for some university courses, including engineering and several science degrees. Mathematics A emphasises group work, mathematical modelling and problem solving through the application of mathematical concepts and strategies to real-life scenarios. Maths at Work is designed for those not desiring to continue onto tertiary study.

Mathematics C (a higher level of mathematics which can be studied concurrently with Maths B) is not offered on-campus, but may be available to interested students through the Brisbane School of Distance Education.

In Years Nine and Ten, students are placed in either the Advanced or Intermediate stream of Mathematics. Mathematics is a compulsory subject for all Year 8 students.
