Woodwork and Furnishing Technology

Senior High Furnishing Technology seeks to develop students’ God-given creative and practical talents. Students are encouraged to view the resources of the world through a designing eye and to use them responsibly to cater for the needs of people with respect to furnishing.

Teamwork is also a key component of the subject which helps the students’ personal development and social skills. Students are encouraged to have a concern for others, God's creation, co-operation in the work place, self reliance and a sense of personal worth and esteem.

Senior High Furnishing Technology is beneficial to students considering careers including builder, cabinetmaker, picture framer and wood machinist.
