Hospitality

Senior High Hospitality covers a wide range of topics relating to food preparation and services, including nutrition, kitchen hygiene, food storage, cultural cooking, budgeting and resource and time management. Students are encouraged to adopt a service attitude through participation in a range of hospitality events, including the Easterfest VIP tent and the Chamber of Commerce breakfast at The Cathedral Centre.

Hospitality is designed to promote confident, informed individuals who are able to perform in group situations under time-pressure. It is especially suited to students who are considering careers in the hospitality industry, including chef, nutritionist, resort manager, quality control officer and homemaker.

Students studying Hospitality at are eligible to be awarded with Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations).
