Drama

Drama at Toowoomba Christian College is a relevant, evangelistic approach to theatrical performance.

Students explore a range of dramatic forms and perspectives through forming, presenting and reflecting experiences. Students are provided with a range of performance and production opportunities throughout which they use their gifts to minister to their peers and audience. Students develop an understanding of the purpose of drama and theatre, from a Christian perspective, in declaring the truths of life.

Drama students learn the essential life skills of cooperation, commitment, confidence, public speaking and spiritual self-appraisal. Students are required to perform on stage, but can also specialise in production technology if their skills and interests are in that field.

Drama is beneficial for students considering careers including actor, director, costume designer, set designer and playwright.
