Christian Studies
Christian Studies is designed to equip students to fulfil God's call on their lives. Students receive instruction in wisdom, discipline, good conduct, and doing what is right, just, and fair. Christian Studies units aim to make the simpleminded clever and to give knowledge and purpose to young people.
In Years Nine to Twelve, every five weeks, students are offered a choice of five elective units. Electives offered are designed to increase the wisdom of the students and provide them with information to assist them to make Godly choices. Ultimately Christian Studies electives are aimed at strengthening students’ faith and equipping them to be a force for good in the world.
Year Eight students undertake Christian Studies and Study Skills classes for the whole year, and Biblical Studies for a third of the year.
Biblical Studies is offered as an elective in Years 9 and 10 and Years 11 and 12. To find out more about Biblical Studies, please click here.
