Biology

In Years Eleven and Twelve, the Science electives of Biology, Chemistry and Physics are offered as subjects. In Years Nine and Ten, students are placed in either the Advanced or General stream of Science. Science is a compulsory subject for all Year Eight students.

Biology is the study of living things. The Senior High Biology course offered at Toowoomba Christian College presents life as created and now controlled by God.

Biology is beneficial for students considering careers including nursing, dietician, beautician, botanist, biochemist, agriculturalist, bacteriologist, laboratory worker, marine biologist, dentist and biological researcher.
